What happens after my scrap car is taken away?

Your car is disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way possible. It goes through the strict processes we follow. It firstly taken to a completely licenced company locally, who first remove the oil, fuel and other hazzardous fluids and parts. It is only then that the vehicle can be crushed and recycled. Scrap cars are fully recycled with the relevant licences.

Should I remove the fuel from my scrap car?

There’s no need. We take the car to a fully licenced company who can remove any fuel or fluid left in the car before crushing and recycling it.

Are you only able to tow away cars?

No, we can easily take a wide variety of other vehicles for scrap as well.

Can I claim back the unused road tax?

Yes, you will need to get a v14 form from the post office or take a look at the DVLA website.

How long before you come to collect my scrap car?

If you are situated in the Luton area then when you call us out we can be with you within no time.

What areas can you collect scrap cars from?

Who will tell the DVLA that my car has been scrapped?

This is not something you need to worry about as if you have supplied the correct logbook for the vehicle we will notify the DVLA that you car has been taken for scrap.

Are you open on the weekend to scrap my car?
